Assura forms joint venture partnerships with GP practices and locality groups to provide new community-based services including out-patient services, diagnostic procedures and day care surgery.

Assura provides the tools that enable local GPs to run a successful clinical service provider organisation, including Care Quality Commission-compliant premises (where required), informatics, IT, start-up working capital, administrative and management support and contract bidding skills. Assura also underwrites the financial risk of all joint ventures in which they are partners.
