Members

The CMB is elected by the GPCo members. This ensures that there is GP influence at the heart of the decision making process and that local ownership is felt throughout the GPCo.

The CMB chairman is a GP member of the GPCo and is directly elected by the practice members. The CMB chairman is usually elected 'Designated Member'.

CMB Members are GPs elected by practice members according to the Constitution of the GPCo.  The CMB can also co-opt other members such as GP's, nurses and practice managers.
